Overview
Getting Started with mimik will provide students with the fundamentals required of Hybrid edgeCloud technology, the backbone of mimik Technology. The course features best-in-class instruction from pioneers of this transformative technology. Join us on a part- or full-time schedule, either on-site or online, in our Remote classroom. Included in the course are instructor-led modules, hands-on lessons using a virtual environment, video presentations, demonstrations, links to presentations, and tutorials. Upon completion, a certificate will be provided based on process-oriented guided inquiry learning principles.
By the end of this expert-designed program, you will be able to:
• Describe different components of mimik technology: hybrid edgeCloud platform, edgeEngine, and edge microservices.
• Deploy your first edge microservices.
• Deploy and use mimik debugging tools.
• Deploy and use mDrive edge microservice.
Prerequisites
This course is for developers who seek to understand the mimik Hybrid edgeCloud platform, edge microservices, and mimik developer tools. This is a beginner-friendly program with no prerequisites, although many students who have engaged in this course have some experience with front-end and back-end development. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of microservices, and the advantage of microservice-based architecture compared to monolithic architecture. Whether you are new to the field or you are looking to formalize your practice, our curriculum help you gain fluency in the fundamentals of the hybrid edgeCloud platform. If you have any questions, our team is available to discuss your background and learning goals to advise and determine if it is a good fit for your short- and long-term goals.

Optimize your training experience with up to 6 hours of preparatory lessons covering essential concepts in edge computing, microservice architecture, and self-paced instructions related to edgeEngine runtime and edge microservices.
Instructor-led Modules
Engage in guided inquiry learning principles. This course includes instructor-led modules, hands-on lessons using a virtual environment, video presentations, demonstrations, links to resources, and tutorials. Throughout the duration of the course, you will:

In order to become familiarized with mimik technology, it is strongly recommended to complete the following Instruqt Tracks before attending the training: • Introduction with mimik microservices (60 minutes). • Getting Started with mimik mDebug (30 minutes).
