Course objectives and target audience:
The Blackblot Interactivity and Communication™ (IC) is a one-day advanced course that provides attendees with the knowledge, skills and tools to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and individuals encountered in the course of a product manager’s job.
Soft skills are non-technical business skills that often impact the success of development projects more than technological skills. The need for specific soft skills has become imperative to product managers’ job performance, as nowadays many of their activities are outbound oriented. This course explores crucial soft skills, specifically in the context of a product manager’s line of work.
In the IC course the participants review topics that include performing a product demo, preparing a product review guide, managing meaningful analyst relations, fulfilling their role in an IPO Road-show, understanding team dynamics, preparing for a product manager’s job interview, marketing themselves in a technology-driven organization, and more.
Prerequisites
Attending the Blackblot Strategic Product Manager™ (SPMR) course is a prerequisite to attending the IC course.
