About this course:
The reconfigured APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management Program offer streamlined path to become CPIM certified and to gain knowledge, learn skills and best practices required to execute, control and improve all of the internal operations within the four walls of your company. This 6-day course, split into two sessions:
- 16-18 April 2019 (Session 1)
- 30 May – 1 June 2019 (Session 2)
will build up upon what you learned in the APICS CPIM Part 1 course and will help you get APICS CPIM-certified!
Developed by APICS – The Association for Operations Management the CPIM Part 2 course is the second part of the best curriculum worldwide for professional training and certification in the fields of Operations Management including production, purchasing, logistics, and inventory management.
CPIM Part 2 topics include Strategic Management of Resources, Master Planning of Resources, Detailed Scheduling and Planning and Execution and Control of Operations modules to deliver a comprehensive supply chain training for internal operations.

About the Instructor, Wolfram F. Irsa
MSc, CPFIM, CIRM
Wolfram F. Irsa, MSc, CPFIM, CIRM is an educator, trainer, seminar presenter and management consultant with experience in implementations and support for customers around the world.
Mr. Irsa is focused on improving efficiency in Operations Management. Mr. Irsa has more than twenty-five years of hands-on experience working in Operations Management and Logistics Management, having worked with companies like Philips, NXP, SiemensVDO, Tyco, General Electric, Johnson Controls, Delphi, Lexmark, BASF, 3M, ASE, KTM, and Lear.
Certifications
Mr. Irsa holds a certification as an auditor for IATF16949. He is a perceptive, dedicated, and resourceful operations, manufacturing, supply chain and quality assurance professional with extensive experience in operations, sourcing, new product introduction, quality/reliability and inventory management.
He understands the big picture and maintains knowledge of all aspects of the manufacturing business. He has major strengths in supply chain management, fabless/offshore manufacturing, sourcing and supplier management, product qualification, and reliability/design verification testing and failure analysis.
Expertise
His extensive knowledge and experience includes sourcing and manufacturing with Asian companies, both from a culture and cost savings basis. He is highly skilled in ERP, global supply chain, information systems, stress test methodologies, and facilities management. He develops strong purchasing, planning, product engineering, production, quality, reliability, test, and document management system functions in start-up environments.
